Does God Exist?

Depending upon your sphere of influence, you may be around people who tell you that there is no God.  This happens, more often than not, if your world of influence is on the secular campus.  College professors and many students at the university, all claim that there is no such thing as God.  Even in your workplace, it is common to find many, that you rub shoulders with daily, who do not believe that God exists.

Those who do not believe in God, are often vocal about their belief, and want to try to convince you to believe like they do.  Mahatma Gandhi was once approached by an atheist with a request that he organize and promote an anti-God society.  Gandhi replied, “It amazes me to find an intelligent person who fights against something which he not at all believe exists.”  Stop.  Think about that response for a short while.  Gandhi makes a great point.  It makes no logical sense for someone to convince you to believe in something that he, himself, does not believe in.

The Bible talks a lot about people who have not accepted Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior.  By the way, if you have never done this, then do it now.  Your quality of life on earth, and in the hereafter, hinges upon that decision.  People who do not know Christ, personally, are called unbelievers.

Scripture goes further to describe someone that does not believe that God exists.  David confronts someone with that belief boldly in Psalm 14:1, “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’”  The Bible, plain and simple, calls the person who does not believe that God exists a fool.

By saying that only a fool believes that God does not exist, you know God is making a statement to His existence.  Since God exists, you should get to know Him better.  Start today!
