We know that the way we think makes a huge difference in the way we approach life. We might view everything through negative lenses. We see heartache behind every corner. We do not get our hopes up, because at any given moment our circumstances can change for the worse.
We may have a different perspective on life. We may think that life is good right now. We count our blessings and feel hopeful. We view our future with a positive perspective. We see it as the best, that life has to offer.
We will view life through one of these above descriptions. Clement Stone hits the nail on the head in regards to attitude, when he said: “There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.” Stop! Reread that slowly. Let those words sink in. Our view of life, and enjoyment of it, can be summarized by either a positive or negative attitude. That positive or negative attitude makes the difference.
The Scriptures speak to our attitude in life. It explains exactly how we can get the most out of every day. The key to living above all the problems and difficult times this world has to offer is described in just a few words: “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus . . . taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of me” (Philippians 2:5, 7; NKJV). Jesus left heaven and became a man.
To have right thinking that brings right results, do as our scripture says. We are to have the same attitude as Christ. Live your life with Christ being your example!
