From Death To Life

Death is a topic that you do not talk much about.  It is inevitable.  It will happen.  Its time is unknown by man.  It happens when you least expect it.

What a person says, while he/she is on their death bed tells you a lot about that person.  I have read excerpts of nurses that explain how a dying person screams and yells out loud, because of the torment of flames they are experiencing.  Others speak of people dying and saying how beautiful everything is.  Although I did not hear it, my mother told me of her mother saying how beautiful, more beautiful than she imagined everything looked.

They dying words of people always leaves you with a profound statement.  No matter if the person’s words or good or bad, they impact your life.  One such person, S. B. Bangs, said this during his dying moments: “The sun is setting; mine is rising.  I go from this bed to a crown.  Farewell.”  You learn a lot about a person’s destiny by their dying words.

Where will you spend eternity?  Jesus give a clear message to how you can spend eternity in heaven: “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life” (John 5:24).  When you put your faith in Christ for His payment of your sins on the cross, you have eternal life.

Death without receiving Christ leads to a hereafter of pain and torment, an eternal damnation.

By trusting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, yields an abundant of joy, peace, love, and everything good that is on earth now.  It truly will be utopia in its fullest extent.  Choose that life right now!
