So many areas of your life are determined by the amount of effort that you put into them. Often, the difference between you accomplishing your goal and not achieving your goal, is directly related to the energy that you put into achieving it. Success is often measured by how much work you put into a task.
Tommy Lasorda hit the nail on the head when he said, “The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination.” As you review the goals you have met in life, all of them took some work. None of them were just handed to you on a silver platter; if they were they were rare indeed. Goals that you set, but that were never achieved, most of the time were because you did not put enough work into them.
God knew, prior to the creation of the world, all your days of your life. So, whatever you are going through, God knows all about it. Acts 17:26-26 tell you what to do, as you go through those ups and downs in life: “And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.” God determined your life before you were born – God “determined their appointed times.” Next, the Lord God explains what you are to do during your life. He says you are to “seek Him” with all your might; see the verse says, “they might search for Him.”
Go ahead. Set that goal. Next, focus on achieving that goal with your whole being. Making your mind up about you being successful makes all the difference in the world.
Be that determined person, because it makes all the difference in the world. Make sure you are going all in!
