Everything is going smooth in your life; then chaos breaks out. You cannot make sense, if you are coming or going. To make matters worse, several areas of your life fall apart all at once. You find yourself losing sight of your objective and not accomplishing much.
You are not alone. Confusion occurs in your life from time to time. “If you think you are confused, think of poor Christopher Columbus. He didn’t know where he was going when he started. When he got there, he didn’t know where he was. When he got back, he didn’t know where he’d been” (Bits & Pieces). If this attitude were not true from time to time in your life, that quote would be funny. It is even less humorous when you are in the middle of it.
When there is confusion in your life, you may wonder why God has brought all this uncertainty into your life. You are walking with God and all of a sudden nothing makes sense. You ask,” God what are you doing?”
Let me share a verse of Scripture that may shed some light upon the subject: “for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints” (1Cor. 14:33). The obvious lesson you learn from this verse is that God does not cause confusion. Where confusion occurs, you know that God is not part of it. So many churches move from one confused matter to another, time after time. The heartbeat of those churches is that they are in a constant state of confusion. As this verse states, if there is confusion, you know it does not come from God.
To get order from confusion requires you to get back on track biblically. Find out what God wants and do not get side-tracked by confusion. Avoid confusion and seek the Lord God in order to get a little order please.
