You want to live a life that is full of joy and happiness. Each day you desire to live life to its fullest. Getting the very most out of each day pushes you to do the things that you do. You live a life of zest to live a life to its fullest.
To gain that great life, you fill your day with those things that give you fulfillment and happiness. But being a fun seeker, no matter what the cost, you quickly find this leads to a meaningless life. The Bible is written, not to keep you away from fun times, but to guide you to get the most out of your life here on earth.
Don Hillis gives some wise words, in which to live your life, when he says: “Whose I am is more important than who I am. Who I am is more important than what I do. What I do is more important than where I do it.” Those are some sound words to live each day of your life observing them. Of special importance, is the very first sentence – “Whose I am is more important than who I am.” Knowing that you are a child of the King, is the most important decision you will make in your entire life. Maybe, you have been a Christian so long that the Bible, prayer, and worship in church are just a ho hum ritual that has lost its luster. It is never too late to start doing what is right! Ask the Lord to give you that enthusiasm for those rites again!
Scripture is full of exciting stories, parables, and teaching. Tucked away in a small book of the Scriptures, is a verse that shouts for its application in many believer’s lives today: “I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:14, NKJV). In other words, live your life for eternal rewards not worldly passions.
Live a fulfilled life! Live for Christ! Do so today!
